About the Course:

Our approach is unique. We do a 2-day interactive course plus a 1-day Workshop. ScrumMaster training provides an applied understanding of the Scrum process and will help you begin to develop the tools, attitudes, and skills required to apply Scrum on your projects and across your organization.

This course covers the basics of Scrum, with the hope that you will be interested enough, motivated enough, and now smart enough to go out and use these ideas effectively. Not perfectly, but effectively. You will not be a master at Scrum, but you will have enough to get started and have some success (assuming conditions are at least somewhat favorable).

Unlike others, we almost always combine a 1 or 2 day workshop with this course. The content of the course and workshop are described more fully here. You may take the CSM course only, if you want. Attendees strongly recommend the Workshop. In overly simple terms, it takes the ideas and makes them practical in your work.

Joe Little, an experienced Agile coach and Scrum Trainer (CST), will lead this Scrum course. Joe has in-depth practical experience in helping teams become very productive with Scrum and Agile. Registration and Fees:

The early bird course fee is $1,700, covering all 3 days, lunch, breaks, etc.  After May 1, 2013, the normal fee will be $1,950.

You can also take only the 2-day Scrum course for the early bird price of $1,300, although be aware that attendees strongly recommend the workshop.  (On May 1, the regular price will be $1,500.) Please contact Taylor Young if you are interested in only the 2-day course.

The fee may be paid via PayPal (credit card) and Google Wallet (Checkout) (credit card), as you see with the buttons above. You do not have to register with Paypal or Google. You can pay for multiple people with the Paypal button above, although we also need an email with the names of the people and their email addresses.

You can also pay via phone (credit card), check, money transfer or cash. In which case, please contact Taylor Young or call us at the office. We can send your firm an invoice or a receipt.  And we can discuss these payment options.  All payments must be received before the course starts. Once you pay, you become registered.

There is a 10% discount for any group of 3 or more.  Alternately, there is a $100 discount for members of Agile or PMI groups. In addition, there is a 4% discount off the net due if you pay with cash (eg, at the beginning of the course).

Refund Policy:

90% of the course fee will be refunded for cancellations more that 7 days in advance of the course. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within a week of the course.
